I cannot get the latest version of Fiji to run on my PC. I can still run the old version of the software, but it fails to open again after I update it. It shows the splash screen of Fiji, and nothing else happens. My operating system is Windows 10, and I've made sure to have the latest version of Java installed. What else could I do in order to try and make Fiji work? System requirements Fiji is supported on the following systems: - Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10 - Mac OS X 10.8 'Mountain Lion' or later - Linux on amd64 and x86 architectures However, Fiji (like ImageJ) should run on any system for which a Java 8 runtime is available (Solaris, Raspbian, etc.). Download ImageJ for Mac OS X from the Download page. The ZIP file you download (Image1.xx.zip) should automatically expand to Image.app, which is normally copied into the Applications folder. If the 'ImageJ' window is too small, set 'GUI scale' in the EditOptionsAppearance dialog to. Yes, the amount of memory available can be increased, up to a limit. It is not a good idea to increase above 3/4 of the physical memory available, nor should memory be increased on Mac OS 9 or earlier in most cases (but see the Mac OS 9 details below). For rather technical reasons, Java applications such as ImageJ have a memory usage maximum that is set when the program is launched.
